Skiers using the alpine ski slopes must have valid insurance to cover their civil liability for damage or injury caused to third parties (art. 30 of Lgs. Decree 40/2021). You can buy it with your ticket, if you don't have one on your own, both with the skipass or with the bikepass
In case of injury on the ski slopes, call emergency number 112 and wait for Slope Rescue, in order to activate insurance. Within 10 days, open the request of refund on www.sinistriviaggi.it with ticket number and Slope Rescue Receipt (in summer you need the Provincial Emergency Service document). More info here and here
If you buy a hourly, daily or multiday skipass or bikepass, you can buy together the insurance that covers damage to third (things and people), legal protection and medical expenses refund for first aid. If you buy a multiday skipass or bikepass starting from 3 days, the insurance refunds you, only in case of injury, the part of skipass or bikepass, lessons and equipment rent you didn't use.
It costs 2,50€ per day per person and it is bounded to the skipass or bikepass. Insurance policy is personal. The insurance can not be buy with the one way or return tickets for pedestrians (non skiers or non bikers). Insurance can be bought on one way ticket only in summer with bike trasportation fee for bikers. Insurance can be bought together with weekly points card at €5,00 (covers one person for 6 days - winter only).
