News for the next winter season 2024/25:
- Construction of a new ski deposit: a new and modern ski deposit will be built at the departure point of the Andalo-Doss Pelà gondola, with changing rooms and 390 ventilated and heated lockers (50 lockers for 4 pax, 40 lockers for 3 pax, 300 lockers for 2 pax) where guests can leave their equipment overnight to find it dry and ready to wear the next day. Some details:
- It will be possible to rent the locker for one day up to 14 consecutive days, or rent it for the entire winter season.
- The service will be provided at two cash points located directly in the deposit.
- The ski pass will function as an opening key for the lockers.
- Widening of the ‘Olimpionica 2’ slope: for about a decade, the ‘Olimpionica 2’ slope, with its slope gradient of up to 47/48% in some sections, has been used for the training of international ski squads, in particular the Norwegian one, and has been the venue for international competitions such as the giant slalom of the women's European Cup. In order to be able to continue to guarantee the holding of these competitions, it is necessary to widen the track. When the work is completed, the skiable section will be 45 m wide.
- Expansion of the ‘Cacciatori 2’ slope: following the expansion of the ‘Olimpionica 1’ slope carried out last winter season, for the upcoming winter 2024/2025, improvements will also be made to the ‘Cacciatori 2’ slope. The slope will be widened to reduce the slope's gradient in the most difficult section to make it easier for less experienced skiers. Almost all of the work will be carried out in carry-over, and all the necessary material will be recovered from the nearby work to widen the ‘Olimpionica 2’ slope.
- The Teresat chairlift will be made accessible for pedestrians: pedestrians will thus be able to reach Baita Lovara with the lift.
